All those sick experiments that Armacham was doing. Alma brought her two sons into the world only to have them taken from her. I like to think that Alma’s for her baby - her firstborn son is what got her mad and pushed for her revenge. When Paxton was born and discovered that he had telesthetic abilities, she saw this as an opportunity for revenge.


She didn’t find out about Point Man until she watched his progress in his mission. She must have realized that she couldn’t look into his mind, but he can. She must’ve put the pieces together after seeing Point Man fight his way to the Vault. She knew who he really was - her firstborn son.


All the experiments, Alma’s heartbreak of losing her children and her rage at ATC for their actions against her and her family. She wanted her children it seems.
